Most people immediately associate me and my art with bright colors. I also love neutrals, but was amused when I was combing through my photo library, I don't have many photos of them!
As the sun sinks lower on the horizon, here in the Pacific Northwest our mornings start late, and evenings start early. Plus this past week we've had the most magnificient foggy mornings. One night I lay awake around 2 am and could hear two different fog horns from ships. One was a Tenor, the other a Bass and it was fun to hear the low rumbling tones taking turns as if in conversation.
I'm heading into a thick patch of fog myself-as in work-and I will do my very best to keep up the blog. But I ask for your understanding in advance as I will continue to be teaching two classes on the weekends, and then working two freelance jobs for 30-40hrs a week. MY weekends may shorten to a day... : ) Ah life! Thanks in advance for your understanding!
I was in the mood for what I call the softer side of the color palette. I've collected a handful of images full of lovely shadings and neutrals to welcome in the Autumn and the season of dark bare tree branches against a soft, grey sky.
Have a lovely week!
