For those of you who love faded, worn, and rusty surfaces-these images are from a road trip I took in 2008. Near the town of Snoqualmie, WA is this collection of old train cars just begging to be photographed! I could hear them calling from inside the car! : ) My friend was very patient, waited while I took umpteen photos. In fact, I think she went and bought some carmel corn. It is nice to have friends who love you even though they don't share your interest in old textures!
These last shots are of Snoqualmie Falls. It is quite beautiful. I hope that for those of you suffering in the heat of the summer, will feel a little cooled off by looking at it and imagining all the cool mist blowing over you as the wind blows. Oddly this morning, at 11 am it is 59 degrees, and has been pouring rain for three hours. Which despite Seattle's reputation, it rarely rains here between July 10th and September 5th! Wishing you a lovely summer or winter-depending on where you live!
