I'm busy preparing for my two classes this weekend but wanted to get a new post up for those of you who come by my blog on the weekends...
My studio is piled with stuff because I keep switching back and forth between projects and mediums. While one is drying, I'm working on another.
Acrylic, plastic mesh, twig, beads, and hydrangea blossoms on canvas
Golden's crackle medium with washes of acrylic paint on top.
Journal spread in progress. Watercolor and ink.
One of my journal pages. Watercolor. I painted the "Dive In" words when I was just getting started and was having a moment of nervousness about starting this painting. Faces can be tricky. So I painted those words as a mantra to "just do it". Yes, we all have those moments, no matter how much art you've done.
I love how this outfit turned out-but the face didn't, so you don't get to see that : )
I recently discovered a full of visual treats blog. If you like yummy Bohemian-inspired colors, clothing, jewelry, garden art 1, garden art 2, interiors, and exteriors, you'll like these.
Have a fantastic week!
