In this post I'm sharing the wonderful art of Marita Dingus. She very generously gave me permission to take photos of her work and share it with you on my blog. She has shown internationally, and received a Guggenheim scholarship among other accomplishments. Learn more about her here: (click on "artists", then "marita dingus"), and on her website.
Her work is part of a fabulous art show up at Francine Seders Gallery in Seattle, WA. The show will be up until July 8th.

I love how she combines fabric, leather, fibers, wire, paint, and found objects to create her figures, faces, baskets, and jewelry. Definitely go check this show out if you are in the Seattle area.
