Artfest Makes Waves

Artfest Retreat 2012, Grounds of Fort Worden, Port Townsend, WA

On the last day of the retreat, after most everyone had headed home, my friend Kathy and I went down to the beach and something magical happened.

The sun came out.

And then a big boat went by. And we got to see lots of beautiful waves-usually the waves are much calmer than this. (And if you live in California or Hawaii- don't laugh at me- we take our waves where we can!)

   

 

And that is how we left Artfest, with spirits renewed and refreshed. Thanks so much to Teesha and Tracy Moore, the team, the teachers and the attendees!!! 

Artfest 2012, Visual Delights

Artfest, an art retreat of creative minded souls happened last week in Port Townsend, WA, U.S. It always proves to me how innately creative we are and how much creativity nourishes us regardless of experience or ability. On the last night, "Show and Tell" many attendees put out the pieces they had made in and after class. Enjoy!

There were so many wonderful pieces of art. Not all my photos turned out due to the low light. Thanks to everyone for sharing their work. Isn't it so inspiring what we can do given three days and some art supplies?
