Last week my sweet friend, Paula McNamee, a fellow artist and adventurer, gave me the Liebster Blog Award. The award originated in Germany and means "favorite" or "dearest". Liebster is from the German word for love-"liebe" . And the fact that I was born in Germany makes this extra special to me. Thanks Paula! Please check out her wonderful blog where she shares her artistic adventures with her art groups in Portland.
Also I was delighted to have my friend Michelle Geller visit last week. She is an artist and teacher whose style is very different from mine, which is why I love looking at her work. She collects paper ephemera and layers it into her journals. She also teaches so if you love what you see... go check out her blog and see if you can take a class from her!

Aren't those yummy?? I just love how she layers all the paper, photos, stamps, tickets, stickers, luggage tags, and labels together. I am so glad that the world has such a wide variety of art & artists! I am so inspired seeing others work!

On another note: I'm very excited-I've been invited to teach at Art Camp for Women in Winter Park, Colorado next year! And what great timing as they were just featured in Oprah's "O" Magazine this month. Dates and details are still being ironed out. I'll keep you posted!
Have a super, terrific day!!
