After the amazing Solstice parade, we strolled several blocks of art and food booths. Then we came to my favorite section-the art cars. They are as diverse as their owners. Some that are all about play-others delivering messages. Imagine how interesting parking lots would be if everyone decorated their cars! I love how very unique all of these are. Some people had traveled from California, Nevada and Florida to come share their art cars. I had a hard time getting some photos because the cars are parked so close together. Never the less-you'll see how amusing, beautiful, startling and kitschy these can be!
The clothes here are magnetic and you can play "paper dolls" with them, and change her outfit!
This one grossed me out, but the message was "Don't Litter!"
This is a pop can turned upside down and made into a pin wheel!
This man loved hydroplane racing and turned the roof of his car into a race course.
There now, you've had your dose of kitsch for the day! : ) I have a LOT more cars to share in future posts. Have a fun weekend!!
