A couple of mornings ago we were greeted with a wonderful view- dramatically dark and stormy clouds in the west and bright sunshine in the east. The sun lit all the autumn trees like some wonderful stage set.

I have been busy making these really fun scarves-I feel a bit like a bird weaving colorful nests with bits of colored yarn and ribbon. In between I've done a bit of journaling.
On a drizzly day I went out and treated myself to a Pumpkin Spice Latte'. Then I decided to paint it, and it became the art part of my journal page that day.

This little Sophie cat decided that it was more important for me to be petting her than getting photographs of my journals to share with you! And of course she was right. But after some pets and purrs I did get more photos.
Here is another page. The border is made of cut up pieces of the candy box that those Japanese Rice candies come in-you know the ones with the wrappers made out of rice that melt in your mouth? I was so fascinated with those when I was little-I mean here is paper you can eat! And I think my fascination with the box too, held promise of my future thirst to travel and visit other cultures.
A few close-ups of the edges:
You know I just can't help myself-more color! more sparkles! : ) Have a glittery, sunshiny, happy day!
